Diclofenac Sodium and Thicolchicoside 2ml Injection – DicloQuell-T is the combination of the two drugs Diclofenac and Thiocolchicoside that is used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It is used for pain related to problems with the spine, neck muscle tightness, and pain in the upper and lower back. Pain is a signal from the nervous system that tells us something hurts in our body. A muscle spasm is when a muscle suddenly tightens up by itself. This can hurt and feel uncomfortable.
- Thiocolchicoside is a medicine that helps relax muscles. It affects the parts of the brain and spine to help reduce tightness or cramping in muscles and make body movements easier.
- Diclofenac is a pain relief medicine that helps reduce pain and swelling by stopping some chemicals in the brain that cause these feelings.
Uses of Diclofenac Sodium and Thicolchicoside 2ml Injection
- Diclofenac Sodium + Thicolchicoside 2ml Injection helps relieve pain caused by muscle cramps. It has diclofenac and thiocolchicoside in it. Diclofenac is a medicine that helps reduce pain and inflammation.
- It blocks COX enzymes, which stop the production of chemical signals called prostaglandins (PGs). These substances are made where the injury is and cause pain and swelling.
- By stopping the action of COX enzymes, fewer pain-causing substances (PGs) are made, which helps lessen mild to moderate pain and swelling in the injured area.
- Thiocolchicoside is a medicine that helps relax muscles by working on the spinal cord and the brain. This helps lessen muscle tightness and makes muscle movement easier, which reduces pain from muscle cramps.
