Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam Injection – CeftriaMaster-T is the combination of two drugs named Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam that are used to treat different bacterial infections of the urinary tract, heart, brain, chest, ears, skin, blood, bones, and joints, or soft tissues.  A bacterial infection happens when bad bacteria multiply in the body and make you sick. It can spread to any part of the body and grow fast.

Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic, and Tazobactam helps stop certain bacteria from breaking antibiotics down. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic that helps stop bacteria from building their protective outer layer, which they need to live. This hurts the bacterial cell wall and kills the bacteria. Tazobactam is a medicine that helps ceftriaxone work better and lowers the chance of bacteria becoming resistant.

Uses of Ceftriaxone and Tazobactam Injection

  • This injection is a mix of two medicines: ceftriaxone, which is an antibiotic, and tazobactam, which helps the antibiotic work better. It is used to treat different bacterial infections.
  • Ceftriaxone is a strong antibiotic that works against many types of germs, both those that need oxygen to grow and those that do not. It can target both good and bad bacteria.
  • It disrupts the creation of the bacterial cell wall, which is needed for their survival. This harms the outer layer of bacteria and kills them. Tazobactam helps make ceftriaxone work better and reduces resistance to it.
